Well, it seems like this year is full of election furvor in Canada.... we have had provincial elections, municipal elections and now, after a long eight week campaign, we are having a national election, the second in less that 2 years. Personally, I think that Canada is in for a change of government and well, maybe that is not such a bad thing (the Conservatives will scrap the gun registry - yay! more on that one later).... if the polls are correct, we could have a Conservative minority government (which may mean that we are back at the polls again sooner than later) or even a majority government that we would be stuck with for another 4 years..... most Canadians are tired of the BS that goes along with these campaigns and are truly ready to move ahead instead of being mired in the past politics and scandals that have had voters holding their noses at the voting booth.... I still do not have a high regard for our policitians but that is another rant for another day....
Anyways, whatever your political persuasion, just get out there and vote!
