Wow.... energy generated almost free from the ocean depths, now this guy has it together. His theory is to generate fresh water, electricity and cold water irrigation to crops by sinking a pipe 3,000 ft deep into the ocean and pump (or more accurately, siphon) cold water from the ocean and tap into the energy locked up in the heat exchange between cold and warm water ... apparently he has proven models, I think this is fantastic stuff, make me optimistic of the future and feeling like we can really reduce our dependance on oil. ... good idea I think, will it fly? hope so.... here's the story.
